I explained the Port's position that ISC's prior record of <br /> suspicious disposal practices, the presence of lead on ISC <br /> property in excess of the TTLC, and the presence of unauthorized <br /> chemicals such as TCE on the ISC property warrant sending ISC a <br /> letter requiring them to investigate the contamination on their <br /> property. <br /> I expressed our appreciation as to the Health Department's <br /> willingness to send the data we have supplied to you to the <br /> Department of Environmental Health Services for further review. <br /> You responded you would soon be meeting with a DENS toxicologist <br /> and Mr. Valinoti to discuss what action will be taken against ISC. <br /> You said the Health Department or your office may be willing to <br /> send a letter to ISC requiring them to investigate, as we <br /> suggested. You indicated that some action may be forthcoming on <br /> this matter by the end of the month. We look forward to your <br /> timely response to the problems at the ISC site. <br /> We also discussed the underground storage tanks on the EP <br /> property.
