All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Jeff Wong at(209) 468-0335 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 190% of operating <br /> pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br /> b. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br /> there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br /> method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. <br /> c. 24-hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)on piping sump. <br /> d. Secondary containment testing on the new fuel pipe run after installation, and six <br /> months after installation. <br /> e. Submit updated Form B to EHD within 30 days of piping replacement. <br /> f. EHD inspector must be present to witness removal of piping, decontamination of <br /> removed piping, management of the rinsate, and any soil sample collection. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Since concrete will be broken near the UST and piping, a secondary containment test <br /> must be performed on the UST and piping once concrete is poured in accordance with <br /> the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> 5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br /> Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br /> b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br /> International Code Council (ICC), and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s)of the component(s) <br /> being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br /> 6. Qualified installers must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br /> individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the following: <br /> a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, <br /> and <br /> b. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being installed, and <br /> c. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International <br /> Code Council (ICC). <br /> 7. Update and submit a copy of the "UST Monitoring Plan"for EHD approval.
