San Joaquin St., Stockton, CA <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health De artment(EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to the following work n the underground storage tank (UST)system <br /> at the above noted address: <br /> - Replace the underground primaryf el supply piping by pulling anew Western <br /> Fiberglass Co-Flex flexible doubt wall pipe through the existing secondary piping, <br /> which will then serve as a rock and chase pipe. <br /> - Replace the secondary test ots on the vent/retum piping, with contingency to replace <br /> the primary and secondary enttretum piping with FRP primary and secondary piping if <br /> secondary containment est fails. <br /> - Test new piping in ac ance to applicable regulations and specifications <br /> - Collect one soil samp every 20 lineal feet of the fuel and vent piping using a hand <br /> auger. The sample will be Collected within two feet of the piping at a depth of one to <br /> two feet below th ase of the piping. Samples will be submitted to McCampbell <br /> Analytical, Inc., thin 24 hours for diesel, BTEX, and oxygenate analyses. <br /> - Triple-rinse an decontaminate the removed piping by inert gas such as nitrogen. <br /> - Rinsate will hauled by Evergreen Oil, Inc. to be disposed at Ecology Control <br /> Industries. <br /> - Removed iping will be hauled by Ecology Control Industries to be disposed at Ecology <br /> Control I dustries. <br /> - Perfo secondary containment test after installation, and 6 months after installation. <br /> The permit h been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Co act the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> Di trict for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. ny changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Jeff Wong at(209)468-0335 to arrange thelollowing inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />
