These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permiLting of all undergroundstorage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcenent agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State Iaw provides <br /> for a to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule> , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for ' five year period. In addition to the yeariy <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/1-.ank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee pe� tank will be charqed every five years or ' <br /> whenever, the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge ° <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water' <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the aPPropriate fees. Fees are dueand payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 1O0% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Loca1 Health Distict Diviaion of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 3O, 1986' 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informaLional workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton' CA. Due to <br /> limited space, these workshops wil be limited to the first 20O Persons per <br /> meeting. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this, please cpntact C.
