PUBLIC NOTICE Fact Sheet Pending Case Closure for Leaking Underground Storage Tank Site Broadbent & Associate s, on behalf of the San Joaquin County Environme /Healthepartment (SJCEHD), invites public comment regarding the intent of the SJCEHD to grant rure for the leaking underground storage tank (LUST) case at the below subject site (Site). SUBJECT SITE:Site Name: ARCO Station No. 4932 GeoTracker Global ID No. T0607 Site Address: 16 E. Harding Way, Stockton SJCEHD Site Code: 1136 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: 60 Days—February 21 — April 21, 201 CASE SUMMARY: The SJCEHD, in cooperation with the property owner, Ms. Sukhwi er Kaur, the responsible party, Atlantic Richfield Company (a BP affiliated Company), and envir nmental consultant, Broadbent & Associates, Inc., lgevaluated soil and groundwater conditions, d health concerns at the subject Site resulting from historical unauthorized releases of gasoline fro an undergro 0 4rage tank (UST) system and from fueling operations. The UST system, con 'sting of three gallon USTs and associated piping, were removed from the Site during the facil upgrades conducted in 1999. Soil and groundwater investigation and monitoring were nducted from May 1999 to December 2013. Gasoline hydrocarbons were detected in on-site soil a groundwater. Active remediation of soil and groundwater was conducted during this period. On t basis of groundwater monitoring and previous and current investigations, the SJCEHD concluded t at the Site status is protective of the environment and of human health for current and future Site se and for adjacent off-site areas. Water Quality Objectives have been achieved in 16 of the 29 IIs that were being monitored. After receipt of notification that all case clos re activities have been completed, the SJCEHD intends to issue a No Further Action Required letter fo the subject Site.
