A total of two,instead of three,shallow groundwater monitoring wells will be installed offsite in the down- <br /> gradient direction. <br /> 2. A total of two,instead of one,groundwater extraction wells will be installed. The original work plan <br /> proposed one extraction well onsite. The addendum adds another extraction well offsite. Also,the <br /> construction of these wells has been changed from 4-inch diameter PVC screens to 6-inch diameter wire <br /> wrapped screens. <br /> 3. The project schedules have been modified to fit the deadlines set by SJC/EHD in their 02/14/02 letter. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> Onsite well installations have been scheduled for March 14-15,2002;SJC/EHD well permit#0029071 has been issued. <br /> Offsite well installations will take place as soon as City of Stockton revocable and encroachment permits are obtained. <br /> Interim remediation measures of groundwater extraction by pumping are to begin the week of March 18,2002,and will <br /> be expanded to include the offsite groundwater extraction well once it is installed.
