Atlantic Richfield Company _ Page 17 <br /> ARCO Station No 4932,Stockton California August 29 2002 <br /> 7.0 REMEDIAL ACTION IMPLEMENTATION <br /> 7.1 Remediation System Permitting and Installation <br /> The proposed treatment system will reduce influent vapor concentrations to effluent levels <br /> acceptable to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) An <br /> application for an ATC permit for the thermal oxidizer treatment system will be prepared and <br /> submitted to the SJVAPCD After an ATC permit is obtained and the system is installed, a <br /> source test will be conducted to verify system performance A PTO will be obtained at the <br /> successful completion of the source test and compliance demonstration <br /> The proposed system will also reduce influent groundwater concentrations to effluent levels <br /> acceptable by the CSPWD A POTW permit will be obtained from the CSPWD for <br /> discharge of treated groundwater A source test will be conducted as required by the permit <br /> after the system is installed to verify system performance and permit compliance <br /> Construction of the remediation system compound will meet applicable local building codes <br /> and fire department regulations An 8-foot high, chain-linked fence with slats <br /> (approximately 15 feet by 20 feet) will be placed around the remediation equipment and <br /> piping manifolds <br /> 7.2 Schedule <br /> Upon receipt of PAR approval from SJCPHS, it is estimated that implementation of the PAR <br /> will require approximately 16 to 24 weeks <br /> 11ARM4932TARTAR doe <br />
