significant effect on the environment because no cleanup or other action is necessary for <br />the Site. Accordingly, there is no potential for significant environmental impacts. The <br />project would not result in "a substantial, or potentially substantial, adverse change in any <br />of the physical conditions within the area affected by the project, including land, air, water, <br />minerals, flora, fauna, ambient noise, and object of historic or aesthetic significance. <br />Furthermore, the site is included on a list of hazardous materials sites compiled pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 65962.5. <br />This project does not involve Air Quality/Green House Gas (GHGs) emissions because no <br />cleanup or other action is necessary for the Site, and therefore, is below the San Joaquin <br />Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJAPCD) threshold levels. As a result, DTSC finds <br />that the project is exempt from further environmental review under CEQA. <br />7. NEXT STEPS <br />Public notice of the "Corrective Action Completion Determination" for the property, the <br />seven SWMUs and two AOCs was published in the Manteca Bulletin, a daily circulation <br />paper for San Joaquin County, on February 7, 2013. Project documents were made <br />available for public review at the San Joaquin County Library, Manteca Branch (320 W <br />Center Street, Manteca, local phone number provided 209-937-8221 for an appointment) <br />and at the DTSC Sacramento Office (8800 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento, local phone <br />number provided 916-255-3758 for an appointment) prior to the start of the public review <br />and comment period. To inform the nearby residents and other agencies of the proposed <br />determination, a fact sheet summarizing the investigation completed at Site was mailed <br />on February 5, 2013 to 77 residents and businesses within 0.25 miles of the Site, <br />including a priority mailing list consisting of State and local elected officials, State and <br />local agencies and special interest groups who may have some interest in the Site. <br />DTSC encouraged the public to comment and provide feedback on the Draft Report for <br />the Site. Commenters were encouraged to submit their comments to the DTSC staff <br />listed below any time before the close of the public comment period, March 8, 2013. At <br />this time, a public meeting to discuss the determination has not been scheduled; however, <br />if there is sufficient interest, DTSC will consider holding a public meeting. To request a <br />public meeting please contact DTSC staff. No written or verbal comments were received <br />regarding the proposed "Corrective Action Completion Determination". <br />Additional information regarding the public comment period, including the locations of <br />information repositories, and Site documents were made available online at <br />http://www.envirostor.dtsc.ca.gov/public/ By clicking on "Site/ Facility Search" tool, and <br />entering "Manteca" as the City, and then clicking on "Get Report," the public was directed <br />to "Advance Tech Interconnect," and the "Report" option. This took the public to <br />DTSC's EnviroStor database where information and documents related to the Site could <br />be viewed. <br />The final Phase I/RFA and Closure Report, Notice of Decision, Corrective Action <br />Complete Determination letter and this updated Final Statement of Basis will be placed <br />with the Administrative Record in the project information repositories identified above and <br />will also be placed on DTSC's website at www.dtsc.ca.gov <br />Statement of Basis for Former Advanced Interconnect Technologies, Inc.
