Celsolupas (RV), M Tupas (RV), Al Navarro and an assistant
(Precious Resourses), Terry McGuinness (21st century), Alex Baillie (MUD), Toni Duncan
(gym).
The treated water to be discharged today was held in tank #500A at the RV site. Volume of the
tank was between 9,000 and 10,000 gallons. Because pipework atop the tank prevailed me &OM
sealing d after sampling two weeks ago, I performed a Hach kit field test for copper. The result
was 0.27 mg/L , which is well under local limits for Stockton. The water's appearance was
undianged and meter readings indicated no sulfide or LEL problems within the tank. PH paper
confirmed an acceptable range of 8.0 to 9.0. I informed Ah that everything looked good and to
commence with pipeline and pump setup while I removed the sewedine 0%. Discharge to the
sewer began at 0955. The pipeline terminated at the weir box in the pretreatment area. Rate of
discharge was apprommately 40 Win withomt the pump, slightly higher with pump assistance. Ile
sewer was monitored throughout the event to ensure that mocbaMng did not occur
During this process, Terry McGuinness with 21st Century Em*ommemtal Management, Inc.,
arrived to take samples from containers that Al had marked for him. Terry's company is
overseeing the removallrecycling of the hazardous wastes at the RV site. ILs secondary purpose
was to secure J3Z's signature on hes contract of services and collect payment - both of which
were accomplished.
The tank discharge occurred without difficulties and concluded at 1245. Alec and I replugged the
sewer lime and locked the security piste down under the maaway cover. Al said he would soon
have about 3,000 gallons oftreated wastewater for us to teat for disclwge. He anticipated one
more tank release (atter the 3,000 gallons) of about 1,000 gallons from high pressure washdown
of the old pretreatment area. Alex and I left the site at 1300. All other personnel listed above were
still on site at the time of out departure.
1-c' "Mu WdS916 966r-"7@-6
