CIRCUITS
On Friday and Monday, Oct. 8 and 11, 1993, under supervision from
Deputy DA David Irey and Ms Eleanor Ratliff from San Joaquin County
Health Department, and assisted by Mr Eric Luces and Mr Celso Tupas
from RV Circuits, solutions stored at R.V. Circuits in the city of
Stockton, CA. in 117 5-gal, 15-gal and 55-gal plastic containers were
tested for pH value and in some cases, for some elements to determine
which solutions can be treated using RV Circuits' treatment unit, and
in what cases haul-off is mandatory.
All containers had been previously identified whit a numbered
sticker by San Joaquin County Health Department, therefore we presume
an inventory of these solutions exists . In the following list we use
those identification numbers as a reference, followed by pH value and
approximate volume of the solution in gallons .
I The first batch of solutions to be tested, were mildly acidic
waste water with a film of oil on the surface, R.V. Circuits
management declared that the source was their air compressor.
These solutions were consolidated in two 55-gal drums, as directed
by Ms Ratliff and Mr Irey; to be hauled off as Hazardous Waste.
These two drums were properly labeled and marked as 10 .08 .93-1
and 10 . 08 . 93-2 .
ID # pH Vol ID # pH Vol ID # pH Vol
151 4 . 3 5 159 5 .5 2 167 5 . 1 4
152 7 . 0 4 160 4 .9 5 168 5.5 5
153 6 .2 5 161 6 . 1 4 169 3 . 9 4
154 7 . 3 4 162 5 . 9 5 170 6.2 5
155 5 . 0 5 163 5 .9 4 171 2 . 2 5
156 3 . 6 5 164 4 .2 5 173 5 . 0 4
157 4 . 0 4 165 6 . 5 5 175 5 .5 3
158 5 . 6 5 166 7 . 3 4 176 3 . 7 4
II The following containers were found to contain usable raw
materials, therefore we separated them from the area of Hazardous
Waste storage, and then labeled them according to their. contents.
ID # Product ID # Product ID #_ Product
8 717-Cleaner 28 Good oil 174 Industrial paint
15 Gallons 4 Gallons 3 .Gallons
