Vasquez , <br /> REPORT OF VIOLATION AND SCHEDULE FOR COMPLIANCE, R.V. CIRCUITS 222 N. <br /> WILSON WAY, STOCKTON - SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> on October 28 , 1987 , the Department of Health Services (DHS) conducted <br /> an inspection of R.V. Circuits (RV) located at 222 N. Wilson Way in <br /> Stockton . <br /> As a result of that inspection, violations of hazardous waste statutes <br /> and regulations were identified . <br /> The specific violation and required corrective action is listed below. <br /> Failure to correct the identified violation within the schedule <br /> provided will result in DHS citing you for continuing/additional <br /> violations. <br /> I . Section 25154, California Health and Safety Code <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to dispose of any hazardous <br /> waste except as provided for in the Health and Safety Code or by <br /> regulations adopted by DHS. <br /> RV has disposed of waste contaminated with lead and copper in <br /> excess of standards adopted pursuant to Section 25141 of the <br /> California Health and Safety Code. Liquid and sludge samples in <br /> and around plating floor and sewer clean-out show contamination <br /> of lead and copper . All liquid in the clean-out drains to the <br /> sanitary sewer . Discharge to the sanitary sewer in excess of DHS <br /> regulatory limits constitutes illegal disposal . No special <br /> handling of floor wastes was observed during the inspection ( ie, <br /> sludge was not being stored in drums or secured in a manner to <br /> facilitate proper disposal ) . <br /> II . Schedule for Correction <br /> By January 1 , 1987 , RV shall submit the following information to <br /> DHS: <br /> o Copies of all manifests generated during the operating life <br /> and during the business relocation. <br /> o Volumes of wastewater generated on a monthly basis. <br /> o An inventory of all chemicals used during R.V. Circuits ' <br /> operating life including Material Safety Data Sheets. <br /> r , <br /> s:. <br /> 1 <br />
