MRI's natural process"ELIMII4ATES <br /> LIABILITY". <br /> MRI's Bioreclamation facility is the largest in the Western United States. It is located near several of <br /> California's major highways near Bakersfield, California, and will soon have rail service to enhance <br /> our receiving capabilities. MRI has a certified truck scale and a soil staging area within our <br /> completely secured facility for isolation and physical screening regarding soil type, contaminates <br /> and their concentrations. MRI's modern facility is designed for utilization of our entire site with <br /> environmental controls to assure complete process containment. <br /> QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL <br /> Prior to acceptance of the non-hazardous material at MRI's facility, soils are sampled and profiled at <br /> the generators site. Conformation analysis of loads is performed by MRI assuring that only soils <br /> meeting MRI's criteria are accepted. After soils are accepted at MRI's facility, generators are issued <br /> certified documentation, "releasing them of any further liabilities". <br /> MRI's qualified environmental professionals, engaged in every detail of the facility operation, <br /> maintain an on-going contingency system to ensure strict operational practices and procedures. <br /> Collection and analysis for chemical and biological maintenance are monitored by MRI's on-site <br /> laboratory. Every detail of MRI's process is entered into our computerized tracking, compliance, <br /> and technical support software to assure exact process records. <br /> SOIL PROCESS AND RECYCLING <br /> MRI's soil recycling facility is designed to provide a safe, efficient, cost effective and liability free <br /> clean-up. MRI's process allows Flexibility in maintaining appropriate conditions for rapid <br /> bioreclamation and material recycling. <br /> The appropriate microorganisms are inoculated during placement of soils into the assigned <br /> Biocell. Samples are collected regularly by MRI's technicians and analyses are performed to l <br /> determine available nutrients present, and nutrients are applied only as required to sustain the <br /> desired level of microbial growth for a satisfactory rate of Bioreclamation. <br /> MRI's process is aerobic.
