NIOSH has recom- <br /> mended that the permissible exposure limit be reduced to 75 <br /> ppm averaged over a work shift of up to 10 hours per day, 40 — <br /> hours per week, with a ceiling level of 500 ppm averaged over a - <br /> 15-minute period.
