The Hazardous Waste Storage Area is located in the northeast corner of the <br /> plant along the east wall. Drums of hazardous waste are stored here for <br /> shipment to Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF). We use <br /> Univar primarily to ship the waste. Drums can only stay here a maximum of <br /> 90 days. We also store universal waste in this area light used fluorescent <br /> lights, high-pressure sodium lamps and cathode ray tubes (CRT). <br /> 2. Satellite Area 91 is paint waste containing paint thinner and paint. It is <br /> located inside the truck shop against the south wall as you enter the building. <br /> The waste is collected in a 55-gallon drum. When full, or up to one year, the <br /> drum is transferred to the Hazardous Waste Storage Area for removal. <br /> 3. Satellite Area 92 contains four 55-gallon drums: waste oil, waste oil and <br /> absorbent, used oil filters and aerosol cans. It is located in the south/west <br /> corner of the machine shop in the maintenance area. When the drums area full, <br /> or up to one year, they are transferred to the Hazardous Waste Storage Area <br /> for removal. <br /> 4. Satellite Area #3 is located in the Pouring Department,just West of the large <br /> Prepolymer tank. There is one 55-gallon drum there for TDI debris waste. <br /> When the drum is full, or up to one year, it is transferred to the Hazardous <br /> Waste Storage Area for removal. <br /> 5. Satellite Area#4 is located in the Drum Storage Area by the Pouring Station. <br /> There is one 55 gallon drum containing head waste and one 55 gallon drum <br /> containing polyol waste. UR-Away FL is used to flush the manifold at the end <br /> of production runs. M-Pyrol is used to dissolve foam build-up off of parts. <br />
