The following is a list of items that require corrective action. <br /> A. Chemical Warehouse: <br /> 1 . Unstable metal shelves holding corrosive containers. <br /> 2. Bottles of corrosives not stored in cabinet. <br /> 3. Cardboard box containing corrosives appears to have leaked and <br /> soaked the cardboard box. <br /> 4. Oxidizers mixed with acids and organic materials. <br /> 5. Rags and trash improperly stored. <br /> B. Hazardous Waste Storage Area: <br /> 1 . Compressed gas cylinders not properly secured. <br /> 2. Hazardous waste has gone past the 90 day time frame. <br /> C. Plating Room: <br /> 1 . Corrosive locker - corrosive liquid found in bottom of locker. <br /> D. Acid Tank Storage Area: <br /> 1 . Secondary containment is not properly sealed. This has pene- <br /> trated through the concrete. <br /> 2. Nitric Acid tank has approxi.mately_6 inches of corrosive liquid <br /> in the secondary containment area. <br /> E. Outside Receiving: <br /> 1 . Empty metal containers labeled Nitric Acid are unprotected and <br /> have the bungs removed from their tops. <br />
