Immediately obtain a permit to treat <br /> hazardous waste This is a Class I violation <br /> Response: <br /> Pacific Southwest Irrigation has instituted a no-treat policy for Hazardous Waste <br /> All Hazardous Waste Treatment on site was immediately stopped by order of the PSWI owner,Jim Clare on December 26, <br /> 2015. All Weldon adhesives and primer products are to be used and emptied"to the last drop." <br /> Maintaining the"California Empty" requirement on all Weldon Adhesives and Primers for both at Job Sites and company <br /> site operations are to follow the rules of <br /> 1. Ensuring containers are not left open] <br /> 2. Ensuring that the only time Weldon product container are opened is when Weldon products is being taken out of a <br /> . container for an application or excess Weldon product is being put back into a container. <br /> 3. All containers are to be empty before being discarded to metal recycling or waste.This policy should bring closure to <br /> any company treatment of Hazardous Wastes. <br /> Please note: All onsite existing Weldon containers that were Hazardous Wastes generated from Weldon Product's <br /> Adhesive and Primer pipeline installation operations were separated, inventoried, placed in Hazardous Waste, UN 3A2 <br /> Open-top drum with appropriate lid and closure device, labeled with a filled out appropriate CA Hazardous Waste Label <br /> and shipped under the CA Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest to an appropriate TSDF or if the container or application <br /> tool was dry were placed in either an appropriate metal recycling container or in the garbage. This was completed onsite <br /> on 2.18.15 by George W. Lowry, Inc. personnel and Matt Gibbons, Pacific Southwest Irrigation.
