He stated about 10 gallons were lost out of a 30 gallons in a drum between transit, and onto the trailer and
asphalt at the site. The release has since been cleaned up and contained on site. He'll be sending out a MSDS to Garrett by
email. He believes the substance to be non hazardous but he could not verify.
9/27/201211 am Met Doug Vickerman operations manager on site; he gave permission to inspect and take photos. Doug
has not received the MSDS from Haz Mat 1 yet,but he stated he'll be disposing the 15-gallon drum of waste generated
from the clean up as hazardous waste manifest. Took photo of a 55-gallon drum which is used as overpack for the
remaining drum of silicon fluid, which is to be sent back to YRC(parent company of Reddaway)in Kansas for product
recovery. Unable to take photos of the trailer which held the leaking container since it has already left the facility for
Sacramento. Doug agreed to send photos he has for the spill. Observed an approximately 15-gallon drum of absorbent
waste from the clean up. Doug stated the absorbent waste is to be managed as hazardous waste and disposed under
manifest. Generated OR and Prop 65(part of which was completed in the office instead of the field).
Xed +b
q ZlZol
-T Le
9/z 8/Zc> (I j-t 1, C el a-: y1-M rr 14
L t,Gtre ►ceQ ku mos by ,
Rev.04119112 Page 3 of 3 ER Record
