Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A <br /> copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all <br /> bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD by January 6, 2012. <br /> 404. Various used fuel hoses and parts, and a waste aerosol can were observed in an open blue plastic <br /> crate above the black steel hazardous waste solids drum inside the facility. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these <br /> containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> 812. Copies of universal waste disposal records were not found on site. A generator of universal waste <br /> (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass, aerosol <br /> cans) shall keep a record of each shipment of universal waste on site for at least three years. The <br /> record may take the form of a log, invoice, manifest, bill of lading, or other shipping document, and shall <br /> include the following: <br /> - Name & address of destination facility <br /> - Quantity &type of universal waste <br /> - Date of departure/shipment <br /> Begin this practice immediately. <br /> 999 (CCR 66265.35). The 55 gallon black steel drum of hazardous waste solids inside the facility is <br /> being stored in a way that does not allow access to the container and viewing of labeling. The drum was <br /> observed stored under and surrounded by various boxes and storage items.
