Maintenance Operation Specialist <br /> JOB DE5CRIP7ION <br /> Essential Functions: <br /> • Oversee the daily operation of the maintenance department. <br /> • Provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers. <br /> • Assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording and reporting data as <br /> well as filing manifests. <br /> • Communicates with facility personnel about operations and dispatch issues as well as distributing <br /> department related information. <br /> • assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues. <br /> • completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager. <br /> • Daily creates, distributes, and closes-out customer tickets. <br /> • Generally has no direct contact with physical hazardous waste activities. <br /> • Small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. <br /> • Attend weekly/monthly environmental/safety trainings &meetings <br /> • May be called on to perform physical waste activities(e.g., filling, moving and labeling <br /> containers, preparing waste for shipment,etc.). <br /> • Signing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and/or Consolidated Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc. <br /> • Oversee/perform small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. <br /> • Update and submit required reports in a timely manner. <br /> • Ensure that environmental records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State <br /> regulation. <br /> Training <br /> • SPCC plan and Spill Prevention/Response Training (initial &annual) <br /> • Hazard Communication Program (initial &annual) <br /> • Emergency Action Plan <br /> • DOT requirements and procedures(initial &annual) <br /> • Hazardous Materials/Waste Training; to include Hazardous Material Business Plan &Hazardous <br /> Waste Contingency Plan (initial &annual) <br /> • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (initial&annual) <br /> • Injury Illness&Prevention Program (initial &annual) <br /> • Energy Control Program (initial &annual) <br /> • First Aid/CPR training (initial &biannually) <br /> Education, Skills, and Qualifications: <br /> Must be at least 18 years of age or older, legally eligible to work in the United States. High school <br /> diploma or GED with 0—4 years of experience and Proficient in the use of computer software and <br /> hardware. Must have the ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without <br /> reasonable accommodations and successfully pass pre-employment(post offer)drug screen, background <br /> check, and motor vehicle records check. <br />
