Driver Joe DESCRIPnoN <br /> Essential Functions: <br /> • Responsible for pick-up of residential/commerdal/industrial waste. <br /> • Perform spot-checking of waste containers to verify that no unacceptable waste is present. <br /> • Perform curbside used oil &used oil/fuel filter pick-up activities. <br /> • Transferring of curbside used oil &used oil/fuel filters from collection vehicle to storage tanks. <br /> • Small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. <br /> • Attend weekly/monthly environmental/safety trainings&meetings <br /> Training <br /> • SPCC plan and Spill Prevention/Response Training (initial &annual) <br /> • Hazard Communication Program(initial &annual) <br /> • Emergency Action Plan <br /> • DOT requirements and procedures(initial &annual) <br /> • Hazardous Materials/Waste Training; to include Hazardous Material Business Plan &Hazardous <br /> Waste Contingency Plan (initial &annual) <br /> • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (initial &annual) <br /> • Injury Illness&Prevention Program (initial &annual) <br /> • Energy Control Program (initial &annual) <br /> Education, Skills, and Qualifications: <br /> Must be at least 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to <br /> speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and <br /> signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records. Must <br /> have a Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement valid for the state in which you are applying to work <br /> in. At least 1 year of pervious experience operating a vehicle requiring a commercial driver's license <br /> (CDL). Successfully pass pre-employment(post offer)drug screen, background and motor vehicle records <br /> check and Department of Transportation Physical. Clear driving record. Ability to perform pushing, <br /> pulling, kneeing, bending, twisting and lifting up to 75 lbs throughout the shift with our without <br /> reasonable accommodations. As well as climb into and out of the truck repeatedly. <br />
