Case Narrative
Client: Stockton Scavengers Association Inc TastAmeriGa Job ID: 28041009-2
Project/Site: CA10021Stockton Scavengers
Job ID: 280-41009-2
Laboratory: TestAmerica Denver
+s
Narrative '`
CASE NARRATIVE
Client:Stockton Scavengers Association Inc
Project:CA10021Stockton Scavengers
Report Number:280-41009-2
Wth the exceptions noted as flags or footnotes, standard analytical protocols were followed in the analysis of the samples and no
problems were encountered or anomalies observed. In addition all laboratory quality control samples were within established control
limits, with any exceptions noted below. Each sample was analyzed to achieve the lowest possible reporting limit within the constraints of
the method. In some cases, due to interference or analytes present at high concentrations, samples were diluted. For diluted samples,
the reporting limits are adjusted relative to the dilution required.
This report may include reporting limits(RLs)less than TestAmerica's standard reporting limit. The reported sample results and
associated reporting limits are being used specifically to meet the needs of this project. Note that data are not normally reported to these
levels without qualification because they are inherently less reliable and potentially less defensible than required by the latest industry
standards.
Sample Receiving
The sample was received on 04/12/2013;the sample arrived properly preserved and on ice.The temperature of the cooler at receipt was
4.7 C.
Per the client's request, the samples OIL/WASTE SEPARATOR and METAL SHAVINGS were reported separately.
Holding Times
All analyses were performed within the established holding times.
Method Blanks
STLC Copper,STLC Beryllium Method 6010B and STLC Mercury Method 7470A were detected in the Method Blanks below the project
established reporting limits. No corrective action is taken for any values in Method Blanks that are below the requested reporting limits.
The Method Blank data are included at the end of this report.
All other Method Blanks were within established control limits.
Laboratory Control Samples(LCS)
All Laboratory Control Samples were within established control limits.
Matrix Spike(MS)and Matrix Spike Duplicate(MSD)
All MS and MSD samples were within established control limits.
Organics
The sample METAL SHAVINGS was received with headspace in the sample vial for VOA analysis.
General Comments
For samples requiring analysis at a dilution, the dilution factor has been multiplied by the Method Detection Limit(MDL)for each analyte
and evaluated versus the project-specific reporting limit(PSRL). If the obtained value is below the PSRL,then the PSRL is preserved as
TestAmerica Denver
Page 3 of 20 5/3/2013
