e
RR
SY
ALL ELECTRIC DEPOLLUTERS
The electric model DEPOLLUTERS are equipped with an AC current
sensor which senses an amperage drop at the high limit or dry side
thermocouple_ This thermocouple -is mounted on a B heater at the
bottom of the unit or the heated surface_ The wattage of the theromally
controlled heater will vary depending on the size of the unit _ The
dry side control is set at a temperature of 3500 _ The heaters
should not reach the temperature set point ; except on heater burn-out -
At such time the dry side control will. show an amperage drop, and the
i
AC current sensor will detect this change_ After a 2-6 second time
delay the current sensor will over-rice the controllers and shut down
the power to the system_
The low limit control_ , (wet side thermocouple) is mounted on the
wet side of the unit, inside the boiling pot in the foreward feed
theromal transducer_ The transducer is designed to isolate the wet
side thermocouple from the majority of area on the pot inner sui_face ,
and senses when the boiling pot is low in effluent_ When this occurs ,
the wet side thermocouple controller will reach its set point ( 240-
2500) , and shut off the power to the heaters , however the current
sensor will not function because of the internal and external. connec-
tions- This is designed for the purpose of keeping the unit operational
when more effluent is introduced to the boiling pot_ When effl_--ent
is introduced to the pot the transducer will be flooded and cool the
wet side thermocouple_ At which time it sends a message to the
controller and the power is supplied and the process of evaporation
will begin again.
TOMBS LANE P.O.
