Yes No Comment
Generation Points ("Satellite Accumulation")
(Reference 25123.3 and 66262.34(e) )
Has the generator accumulated HW at or near the
point of initial generation without meeting
storage deadlines provided they accumulate no more
than *55 gallons of HW or one quart of acutely or
extremely HW, and: [66262.34(e) (1)-)
(A) The waste is accumulated in containers at or
near the area where generated and which is under
the control of the operator of the process?
(B) The waste is held on-site for no more than
one year, nor more than 90 days from reaching
applicable quantity limits?
(C) The initial date of accumulation is clearly
marked and visible for inspection on each
container?
(D) The HW is compatible with the container used
for accumulation and the container is kept closed
except when necessary to add or remove waste?
(E) The generator complies with
66262.34(e) (2) , (3) and (f) (3)?
* Note: If the generator has determined that not all wastestreams generated by a single
process or group of processes in the same physical area are compatible, the generator may
apply a separate 55 gal. or 1 qt. limit to each group of compatible wastestreams.
(Reference 66262.34(e) (2) (A) )
Also, if the generator determines that using only one 55 gal. or 1 qt. container to
initially accumulate specific compatible wastestreams is not practical or safe, the
generator may use a separate container for those specific compatible wastestreams
(although this determination is subject to review and approval by the Department at any
time) . (Reference 66262.34(e) (2) (b) )
Once the generator has accumulated an amount of HW
equal to any applicable quantity limitation listed
in 66262.34(e) (1) , has the generator, with respect
to that waste, within three days, labelled the
container with the date the quantity limit was
reached and complied with 66262.34(a)?
[66262.34(e) (3) )
90 Day Accumulation
(Section 66262.34)
If the generator does not have a permit or interim
status (as a TSD facility) have they accumulated
HW on-site for less than 90 days (except as / ✓/
provided under 66262.34(d))? [66262.34(a) ] ✓ w/d y°W ,
NOTE: For generators of not more than 100 kg/mo. of HW nor 1 kg/mo. of acute or extremely
HW, the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kg (or 1 kg) .
(Reference 66262.34(b) and 25123.3(b) )
Revised 7/15/91 Page 4
