It is still considered a special waste under <br /> CCR 66261.122 and 66261.120(x)(6) and must be managed in accordance with CCR <br /> 66261.126. <br /> A representative from the EHD must witness removal of the sludge. Please schedule the <br /> removal 24 hours in advance. A licensed contractor with a hazardous waste endorsement_ <br /> must remove the waste. A licensed hazardous waste hauler must transport the material. I <br /> have enclosed a partial list of contractors and haulers for your convenience.The sludge must <br /> be disposed of at a Class I1 landfill that is permitted to accept this special waste.
