Hazelton Avenue <br />Stockton, CA 95205 <br />Re: Laura Scudders, 100 Valpico Road, Tracy, California <br />Background: <br />In September of 1987, one 10,000 gallon underground Storage tank <br />was removed under San Joaquin Local Health District permit on the <br />Laura Scudders Property - <br />At that time, samples of soil from directly under the tank, <br />(approximately 12 feet), indicated a rather high amount of Total <br />Hydrocarbons. <br />Further investigation was conducted by using hand augers to gather <br />soil samples from a depth of 20 feet below grade. These soil samples <br />indicated a lack of contamination at that depth - <br />It was decided at that time by officials romHalu ersrthe <br />contractor and the inspector from San JoaquIHealth time 2 new <br />that soil would be excavated to 20 feet atwhicchre r ported on �leess <br />would be taken. The results of these samples <br />Analysis Labs log #5505 as #1 South and #1 North. <br />Approximately 100 yards of excavated soils were stockpiled at <br />the west end of the facility. Three soil samples were taken from <br />these soil stacks.
