TracAesyearch Corporation
_ Horizon Engineering and Tracer Research Corporation performed Tracer TightO leak
testing of 2 underground storage tanks at the U-Haul #709-23 site in Stockton, CA. The tanks
were inoculated with tracer on August 24, 1992, to a concentration of approximately 10 ppm.
Samples were collected on September 1.0, 1912. The following table shows the tank size, type
of tracer in each tank, fuel through put factor in the first 72 hours after inoculation and total
amount of tracer introduced into each tank:
TANK # r''1_ZEAL) TRACER FACTOR AM01MG)
'rank 1 6,{1110 DA 1 250
Taiik 2 6,000 l{B 1 200
The following table shows the type of product in the tank, the product level and the water
level in each tank measured in inches at the time of inoculation and sampling.
AT INOCULA DON AT SAMPLINQ
TANK # 1LRO -CU I12Q PR DUC 1H120 PRUUUCT
Tank 1 Diesel 0.00 31.00 0.00 24.00
Tank 2 Unleaded 0.00 33,00 0.00 24.00
The depth to water in the tank pit was determined to be 13.5 feet below grade. The
groundwater conclitions were stable.
