A hazardous <br /> waste manifest listing those products must be submitted to the SJLHD <br /> within 30 days of tank removal . <br /> 2. If tanks are to be used as scrap metal or reused, a receipt from <br /> the scrap yard, or others, must be submitted within 30 days of <br /> tank removal to the SJLHD. <br /> 3 . A sample must be taken from below tank and analyzed <br /> for the following: <br /> 1 . BTX (EPA 8020) (note that several samples <br /> 2. TPHC (EPA 8015 mod . ) may be neccessary) <br /> 4 . Call for inspection 48 hrs . prior to removal , calls after 12 : 00 <br /> cannot be scheduled for the following day. <br /> 5. Note: that if water is }ncountered during distruction water <br /> samples may also be required. 1 <br /> 6. Due to the complexity of this Project further assessment may be <br /> required ie. (monitoring wells) depending on the conditions <br /> incountered at the time of tank destruction. <br /> 7 . A statement of workman's comp. required prior to approval . <br />
