5.) Water Not Present in Tank Pit: <br /> Tank Size: up to 1,000 gallons, minimum one soil sample <br /> at the fill or pumped end. <br /> Tank Size: 1,000-10,000 gallon, two samples, one at each <br /> end of the tank. <br /> Tank size: 10,001 and up, three or more per tank, ends <br /> and middle or generally along the length of the tank. <br /> 6.) Water is Present in Tank Pit <br /> A. Tank Size: 10,000 of less (Single Tank), Minimum <br /> number of soil samples-two. One from the end wall on <br /> fill end of tank. One from dies wall at ground water <br /> level. Water sample required, one each. <br /> B. Tank Size Greater Than 10,000 gallon or tank <br /> cluster, minimum number of soil samples four, <br /> from wall next to tank ends at soil/groundwater <br /> interface, water samples minimum one. <br /> CHEMICAL SECTION: <br /> 1.) Contents of Tank: Diesel, 2,000 gallon tank. <br /> 2.) Residual: To be pumped into vacuum truck and legally <br /> disposed of. <br /> 3.) EPA Number will be assigned prior to tank removal. <br /> 4.) Authorization to release analytical data form attached. <br /> Tank Disposal <br /> 1.) Dry ice used at 15 LBS per 1,000 gallon capacity. <br /> 2.) All tanks will become the property of <br /> North Cal Construction. Tanks will be <br /> transported to North Cal Construction yard <br /> for disposal. <br />
