These Btlls require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of al1 underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The SAn Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities -,-nd unincorporated areas within San Joaquin 'County. State law provides <br /> for a fee s,,/ to c. ver the cost of implementinq this state mandated <br /> ' <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will. be issued for a five yeaperiod. In addition to the yearwill. r <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or. amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. � <br /> To apPly for a facilities Permit toOperate, complete the attached Fee '~ <br /> Worksheet and submit the apPropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 61 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br /> In order 'to answer any questions regarding this UnderKound Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshoPs: <br /> 1.
