Ink � <br /> 1 / <br /> • Pacific Gas and <br /> Electric Company <br /> December 29, 1999 <br /> Mr. Randy Schulley <br /> California State Office of Emergency Services <br /> 2800 Meadowview Road <br /> Sacramento, CA 95832 <br /> Dear Mr. Schulley, <br /> This letter is a follow-up written report for the verbal spill notification discussed with you <br /> on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 12:20 PM. At that time, you assigned the OES <br /> control number 99-5451 to this spill event. Notification was also made to: Art Bentley at <br /> the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services at 12:15 PM on 12/28/99, Doug <br /> Wilson at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department at 12:20 PM on <br /> 12/28/99, and Petty Officer Turman with the National Response Center at 12:25 PM on <br /> 12/28/99. The NRC assigned control number 515614 to this spill event. <br /> • There was a release on 12/28/99 at approximately 10:30 AM located at Schulte Road, <br /> west of Corral Hollow Road in Tracy, San Joaquin County, California 95376. A pickup <br /> truck struck a utility pole, knocking over a 276 Kva Regulator. Approximately 100 <br /> gallons of mineral oil was discharged to the surrounding soil. PG&E crews responded by <br /> excavating all visible contamination, and backfilling with clean soil. <br /> If you have any questions, or wish to discuss this matter in greater detail, please contact <br /> me at (209) 942-5011. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Ma in P.
