Seal the oil inlet drain inside the vehicle maintenance building to cease
the use by the mechanics. PG&E will temporarily place the used motor oil
in a 55-gallon drum.
2. We will break the concrete from above the tank and remove it and the
tank backfill material to expose the tank top and the existing piping.
3, We will out and remove 2' to 3' of the existing drain piping t4 allow for the
installation of the new 48" diameter Western Fiberglass piping sump.
4. We will then re-attach the drain piping to the tank.
5. If, the existing drain line cannot be re-used we will then remove all of the
existing piping ( approximately 12' ) out it and place it in DOT 55 gallon
drums for disposal by PG&E. PG&E will typically have the waste picked
up and transported by Phillips Transportation and taken to Chemical
Waste Management for disposal.
6. If the piping is removed we will have our consultant, Geo-Logic come to
the site to take soil samples from the trench adjacent to the building and
send the samples out for analysis to Severn-Trent in (Pleasanton.
incerel ,
Rob Corsun
