Weber Ave., 3rd Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Re: PG&E Service Center, Underground Tank Repairs
4040 West Lane, Stockton 95204
Dear Michelle,
Following is the scope of work originally anticipated for the work to make repairs
to the existing under dispenser containment sumps at this facility.
Our plan for completion of this project originally included the following steps,
1. The site has two (2) unleaded gasoline dispensers and one (1) diesel fuel
dispenser with UDC sumps which need to be sealed and tested. We will
remove all of the dispensers from their islands, seal all of the existing
penetration fittings and perform a 24-hr, lake test on the existing UDC's.
After the successful completion of this testing we will re-install the existing
fuel dispensers.
As you know we are not able to successfully seal the existing penetration fittings
in the existing UDC's. Our plan now is to break out the concrete and remove and replace
the three (3) existing UDC's with new Western Fiberglass under dispenser containment
sumps_The work will include cutting the existing fuel and vapor piping and then
extending new piping into the new UDC's. Soil samples will need to be taken from
beneath each of the removed under dispenser containment sumps_ Inspections for the
now work will include the sail sampling, the primary pipe test, the secondary pipe test,
the lake test and finally after the re-mounting of the dispensers a functional test for the
leak detection system.
Please let me know if we can proceed with this work-
s' eely,
Robert 3 Corsun
