Box 2009
1601 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Mr. Wilson:
The two sump containment structures associated with the
diesel and unleaded fuel lines for the newly installed
fueling facilities at the Stockton Service Center hold water
to a depth of eight and thirteen inches respectively. These
depths represent more than 200 percent of the total volume
that could collect if the integrity of the product lines
were to be compromised. Please reference the attached
calculations that identify the volume associated with the
product lines and the containment sumps.
It is PG&E's opinion that the volume of fuel which the sumps
will contain is adequate to prevent any release to soil. If
you concur, please contact Mike Savage at 263-5214 to
arrange a final inspection of the site.
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
:Si
/'nce y„
:/
William J.
