It is the Supervisor 's <br /> obligation to teach employees to work safely . Notwithstanding the <br /> responsibilities of Supervisors , each level of our organization is <br /> accountable for safe performance . <br /> Duties and responsibilities of all personnel under, this firm ' s <br /> safety program are in the following : <br /> 1 . SAFETY MANAGER <br /> a * Provides all levels of management the services and <br /> technical advice needed for proper administration of the <br /> Safety Program . <br /> b . Develops technical guidance and interim programs to <br /> identify and remove physical hazards from construction <br /> sites . <br /> C . Formulates , recommends and administers approved changes <br /> to the accident prevention program . <br /> d . Prepares and distributes to all department heads regular <br /> reports on the status of safety . <br /> e . Advises all levels of management on rnatter-s pertaining to <br /> safety , to include establishing "chain of command " and a <br /> network to communicate safety matters within the <br /> organization . <br /> f . Maintains an adequate accident report -system , personally <br /> investigating serious accidents and taking corrective <br /> action to eliminate accident causes . <br /> 9 . Cooperates with project management personnel in the <br /> safety training of employees . <br /> Is h . Conducts personal inspections to observe unsafe <br /> conditions or work practices . <br />
