G <br /> EQrl7rA{ENT M���AZyC� <br /> SINCE 1971 <br /> 6 <br /> COMPANY SAFETY RULES <br /> In order for a safety program to be effective , it is vital <br /> that rules be established , monitored by responsible <br /> individuals , and implemented by all levels of employment . <br /> The following are some of the general rules applicable to our <br /> operations , that must be enforced on every protect contracted <br /> by our company . This is a partial listing only . The <br /> pertinent requirements of OSHA Regulations CFR29 , Part 1926 <br /> Safety and Health Regulations for Construction with CFR29 Part <br /> 1910 Identified as Applicable to Construction , also apply in <br /> this form . <br /> 1 . PERSONAL PROTECTION AND RELATED EQUIPMENT <br /> a . Personal protective equipment must be worn as prescribed <br /> for each job by the supervisor . <br /> b . Employees must check with their supervisor (s) regarding <br /> any portion (s) of their job that they do not understand . <br /> C . Goggles , face shields , helmets and other comparable <br /> equipments are required to fit the eye and face <br /> protection needs of the employee for each application . <br /> d . Hard hats must be worn by all employees at all times in <br /> all construction work areas . <br /> e . Gloves are to be used when handling materials , and for <br /> protection against acids and other chemicals which could <br /> injure employees skin . <br /> f . Respiratory equipment in many cases is needed for <br /> protection against toxic and hazardous fumes . Employees <br /> must verify with their supervisors which equipment meets <br /> the need for breathing safety . <br /> g . Safety shoes are required to help eliminate toe and foot <br /> injuries . <br /> h . The use of safety belts is required when working on <br /> elevated work where there is no guard protection and on <br /> certain suspended scaffolds . <br /> i . Employees are expected to utilize proper judgement in <br /> their personal habits . When they report to work each <br /> morning they must be in fit condition to meet daily <br /> obligations . <br />
