These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and Permitting of all underground storaye t4nks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Healtl--, District, Division <br /> of Enyironyiient�al Health was designated -is the enforcement 'Agency -for the <br /> cities and Lin incorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state-1 mandate-d <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule�, for these required inspection;ll <br /> services, will be billed on A- yearly basis. The facilities Permit -to OperAtF! <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectiorial fee, this statement will also include a $86/tank State surcharge <br /> f e e.. The State surcharge fee per- tar0- will be chArged every five Years or <br /> whenever -the ftacilities permit is renewed or ame'rided. All. State surcharge <br /> fees will. be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water, <br /> Resources Control. Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit -to OperA_ tey complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees -Are due and payable February <br /> 3Y 1986.
