After the tank(s) is/are removed, we will dig down approximately 2 to 3 feet into the undisturbed soil under where the tank(s) had been to have soil samples taken. The soil samples will be taken from the teeth of the backhoe bucket by the above properly licensed facility. The soil samples will be taken with brass tubes. Should water be encountered, water samples will be taken by plastic or glass bottles. For samples to be taken and analysis to be done, see highlighted areas of "Sampling Protocal for Routine Tank Removals" and "Minimum Verification Laboratory Analysis" sheets enclosed. 6. Method of disposal of all res4dual liquid, solids, or sludges, if applicable: A. The tank(s) and associated piping will be triple rinsed on site by Jim Thorpe Oil. The cleaning procedure will consist of three (3) rinse cycles with steam or hot water. B. The rinsate will be removed from the tank(s) by: Nor -Cal Oil, waste oil haulers P. 0. Box 645 1 (800) 332-8710 Denair, CA 95316 EPA CAD 982417255 C. and transported by them to: Refineries Service 13331 N. Hwy 33 Patterson, CA 95363 EPA CAD 083166728 for disposal D. Nor -Cal Oil will supply to us a receipt for the rinsate recovered. We will put the customer EPA site number on the receipt. A copy of the receipt will be forwarded to SJLHD.
