'These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of All underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental. Health was designated as the enforcement Agency for the <br /> cities and Unincorporated areas within San JoA <br /> .quin County. State law provides <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> p rog rayn. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule), for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will Also include A $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee. per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever -the facilities permit is renewed or, amended. All. State surcharge <br /> fees will be -transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, colmpl,:,ete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3y 1986. Fees received after March 69 1966 are subject to 100%. penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1.986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted At the Sari Jbaquin <br /> Local I-4ealth District Board Roomy 1601. E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton, Co .
