"PIP-ase see attached copy of the bill. "
When I bought this property located in the city of Thornton
in October 1991, I was never informed of any fees for the under-
ground tanks in that property.
If I knew, or if San Joaquin County could have notified me
that there is such a fee for underground tanks on the property
that I bought, then I could have the tanks removed right away in
order for me to avoid paying any fees.
It is only fair that I should only be billed from the date
I bought the property until the date that I had the tanks removed,
which is Oct. 1991 thru July 1993. Which is only 21 months.
The first bill I received last Sept 1993 already shown a
late fee. How can a late fee be charged if that was only the first
bill I received. I was never notified by San Joaquin County or
by your office.
Please be fair, I am only willing to pay the fee from Oct
1991 to July 1993. I disagree with this bill.
I would greatly appreciate it that when you send me the bill
please send one that is itemized with explanation of fees and
charges.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
ADOR B.
