Weber Avenue, Third Floor
Stockton, Ca 95202
Attention: Letitia Briggs, R.E.H.S.
Dear Ms. Briggs,
I talked with you on November 3, 1999, about our UST monitor
calibration/testing that we were conducting. At that time you said you
reviewed our file and found that there was an unresolved issue. You
explained that at the time of your last inspection, the product lines in
the diesel sump area which were double walled, were sealed. Having
the outside pipe of the double wall piping system sealed would inhibit
knowledge if a leak occurred in the primary piping.
I am glad to say after inspection of the diesel sump area, I found that
the secondary pipe was open to allow any fluid leaking from the
primary pipes to accumulate in the sump area. I have taken
photographs to show these secondary pipe openings. The photographs
are a little dark but I believe you will be able to see the evidence.
Enclosed are the completed repair forms you sent with the
photographs. If you have any questions please call me at (209) 942-
.566.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Wayne E. Yeager
Environmental Specialist
