M E M O R A N D U M
TO: Mr. Delmar Bolton, Plymouth Square
FROM: Pam Violett, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Div.
DATE: October 18, 1993
RE: Underground Storage Tank (UST) at 1319 N Madison,
Stockton
In the course of performing a review of the UST file for the above-
referenced site, I noticed you have not had an inspection for quite
some time. Consequently, I wanted to send you some updated
information regarding your UST, and in addition, provide you with
a new table to be utilized in the monitoring of your UST. I am
sending you only one copy of Table TPS-1, so please use this copy
as your original and make additional copies as necessary.
You will note on the Tank Performance. Standards hand out, only
those UST ' s greater than 550 gallons require an annual tank test.
Our records show your UST' s capacity at 350 gallons. If this is
accurate, you need not have the tank tested at all. However, if
the UST has any piping associated with it, a triennial line test
would be required (see Piping Performance Standards hand out) . For
inspection purposes, you need only to maintain all monitoring
records on site available for review, and no documentation is
required to be submitted to this office other than the results of
line tests, as you have fulfilled in the past.
I have also enclosed some Financial Responsibility information.
This issue will need to be addressed by December 31, 1993 .
1 hope this clarifies the required monitoring for your UST. If you
should have any questions, please feel free to contact me at
(209) 468-0335 .
Pamiolett, Senior R. E.H. S.
