The
presence of petroleum hydrocarbons were confirmed by laboratory analysis in sample TK3n
at 18 feet, PF-5a at 16 feet and PF-1b at 14 feet below grade.
PHS/EHD requires definition of the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination beneath
these locations in order to determine whether additional corrective action is necessary or if
the site can be considered for a no further action status. PHS/EHD recommends that you
backfill the UST excavation with clean fill soil and submit a workplan to determine the extent
of contamination beneath the site.
If you have any questions, please contact Steven Sasson, Senior R.E.H.S., at (209) 468-
3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
S even Sasson, Sensor REHS Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
CC: Mike Golden, Division of the State Architect
Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB
Mel Jacobo, SWRCB
A Die ision of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
