C A M B R I A
ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Soil Analytical: Soil analytical results from the fuel UST, dispenser and piping samples are
summarized in Table 1 and TPHg, benzene, and MTBE data are presented on Figure 2. Soil
analytical results from the waste oil tank and hoist samples are summarized in Table 1 and TPHg,
TPHd, benzene, and MTBE data are presented on Figure 3. The certified analytical report is
included as Appendix A. A summary of the data are presented below.
No TPHg, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, or fuel oxygenates were detected in soil samples
collected beneath the dispensers, product piping, or fuel USTs. Xylenes were detected in
samples D4 and P-5 at concentrations of 0.012 and 0.0059 parts per million (ppm), respectively.
No TPHg, BTEX, fuel oxygenates, chlorinated hydrocarbons, or PCBs were detected in the soil
sample collected beneath the waste oil tank. TPHd was detected in each of the samples collected
beneath the hoists and beneath the waste oil tank at concentrations ranging from 2.7 to 22 ppm.
TRPH was detected in soil samples collected beneath the hoists at concentrations ranging from
13 to 86 ppm. No BTEX or PCBs were detected in soil samples collected beneath the hoists.
Total chromium, lead, nickel, and zinc was detected in sample WO-1 at concentrations of 5.36,
1.96, 5.95 and 19.0 ppm,respectively.
CONCLUSIONS
Low levels of fuel constituents were detected in only a few soil samples collected beneath the
fuel USTs, dispensers, product piping, waste oil UST, and hoists. The site is currently a LUFT
case with a regular groundwater monitoring program in place.
0323 3
