Box 2009 /' / I ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 d0\ FERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Dear Mr. Valinotti : <br /> Re: Removal Plans for Two (2) Empty Underground Tanks at <br /> Stockton Center <br /> The purpose of this letter is to confirm the February 5 , 1987 <br /> telephone conversation between Bill Snavely of San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department and Karen Lackey of East Bay <br /> Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) granting an extension of the <br /> filing date for removal plans for the subject tanks. <br /> EBMUD received the Stockton Center inspection report on <br /> January 30, 1987 from San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department. The report requested removal plans be filed for the <br /> subject tanks by February 15, 1987 with removal within 90 days <br /> following approval of removal plan. These tanks are planned to <br /> be removed in Fiscal Year (FY) 1989 . We are reviewing the <br /> feasibility of accelerating this schedule. <br /> Mr. Snavely verbally authorized extension of the permit filing <br /> date to the end of February. EBMUD intends to complete and file <br /> its removal plans by February 28, 1987 . <br /> In addition, the District verbally requested an extension on the <br /> 90 day limit for tank removal .
