Work Notification MAR 1 9 2004 <br /> Marchi and April 2004 ENWRU ViElff HEALTH <br /> Stockton Event Center PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Stockton, California <br /> The City of Stockton, Department of Housing & Redevelopment has prepared this work <br /> notification to advise residents in Stockton, California of field work to be performed in March <br /> and April 2004. Field operations will be performed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. <br /> under the oversight of the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DISC), <br /> Contractors will be excavating soil containing petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, and polynuclear <br /> aromatic compounds (PNAs) in accordance with the Remedial Action Plan (RAP) approved by <br /> DTSC on 30 August 2001. The RAP describes the remedy chosen to address contamination at <br /> the site. The selected remedy for impacted soil at site is excavation and off-site disposal. The <br /> groundwater remediation activities are ongoing under the oversight of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). <br /> These excavation activities will take place on properties between the Stockton Deep Water <br /> Channel, North Lincoln Street, West Fremont Street, and Madison Street.
