10 August 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 04-1160 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> Appropriately sealed and labeled samples will be placed in a chilled container and transported under <br /> chain-of-custody to aDepartment of Health Services(DHS)-certified laboratory.Each sample sleeve <br /> will be labeled with the boring designation,depth,time,date and sampler's initials.The soil samples <br /> will be analyzed by Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories, a DHS-certified laboratory, for the <br /> following constituents: <br /> • Total lead by EPA Method 7420. <br /> BORING ABANDONMENT <br /> Soil borings shall be abandoned by backfilling with excavated and local soils found onsite. <br /> REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and the results of the laboratory analyses.Conclusions,applicable recommendations and <br /> maps will be included in the report, as well as copies of the laboratory reports, testing methods, <br /> laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody <br /> documentation.
