Stockton WrecWk;;z' g ' .,-d 4 November 16, 1990
considered a hazardous waste if the concentrations exceeds the STLC Levels shown in
the last column below:
Summary of Analytical Result for Soluble Lead Concentration
(all results in milligrams per kilogram/ppm)
Constituent Samle 1-1 Samole 2-1 t Samoie S-I. STLC
Lead 2.8 6.6 J 3.8 5,0
The detected soluble concentrations of lead in samples 1-1 and 5-1 were
detected below the criteria which would classify the material as hazardous according
to California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, Chapter 30, Article 11, Sections 66699.
Analysis of Sample 2-1 indicated a soluble concentration of Iead that exceeds the STLC
value and as such, would classify the material as hazardous.
CONCLUSIONS
Based on the analytical results for the samples collected, it appears that both
the total and soluble concentrations of lead on the site are at elevated levels, much
higher than what background appears to be. One sample (Sample 5-1) indicated a
soluble concentration that exceeded the criteria established to classify it as
hazardous. The levels of all other metals detected appear to be within the range of
background concentrations. We recommend that a copy of this letter be sent to the
County of San Joaquin. public Health Services to. determine if there may be further
requirements as to additional assessment of Iead concentration on the site-
CLOSURE
This letter has been prepared for the exclusive use of Mr. Saar Cloud, as it
pertains to the property located at 5681 East Marsh Street Stockton, California- The
findings and conclusions rendered in this letter are opinions based on laboratory
testing of soil samples collected during this study. This letter does not reflect
subsurface variations which may exist between sampling points. These variations
cannot be anticipated, nor could they be entirely. accounted for, in spite of
ES-0497-SNI 9011-E038.LTR
