And in most cases, these conditions
result in the necessity for a revised site plan.
In order to insure that all conditions of approval have been met,
we are initiating the following sign-off procedures :
1. Upon receipt of the revised site plan from the Applicant, the
Planning Division "Tracker" will conduct a plan check and
verify that Planning Division conditions have been met . The
Tracker will then sign-off in the "Tentative Approval" block
of the Department stamp.
2. All blueprints will then be forwarded, in order, to the Public
Services Division for their review and sign-off, followed by
Environmental Health Division review and sign-off .
3. All blueprints will then be returned by Environmental Health
to the Planning Division for "Final Approval" sign-off by the
Tracker . Distribution of the approved site plan to
appropriate agencies will complete the process.
Our intent is to insure that each Division has adequate oppor-
tunity to review the final submittal. It is possible that the
sign-offs could be accomplished on a "walk around" basis.
However, if additional time is required for plan review, each
Division would forward the blueprints to the next Division upon
completion of their review.
This system will also allow the approved site plans to be
included with the building permit construction documents that are
submitted to the Building Inspection Division. This way,
building permits could not be issued unless the Planning stamp
"Final Approval" block is completed.
Please coordinate your site plan review through Dom De La Torre
or Bruce Baracco of the Current Planning Section. Dom or Bruce
will be glad to answer any questions you may have or to assist
in site plan processing. yptuld KW:BB:eel
za
c: Building Inspection Division AUG 2 9198b
ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
