These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permittin9 of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District' Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> within � Joaquin Comnty. State law provides <br /> cities and unincorporated areas w n an oaqu . <br /> fr a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> program. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit -to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year, period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statenvent will also include a $56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or, <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharga <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, coniplete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due ind payable February <br /> 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regi-trdinB this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday' February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, Fe'broary 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave., Stockton, CA~ Due to <br /> limited space, these6orkshops wil be limited to the first 200 persons per <br /> meeting. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this, please contact C.
