Ultramar/Beacon Inc. <br /> Hazardous Material Removal Procedures <br /> Ultramar Inc. has retained the services of Filter Recycling Services Inc. to handle the <br /> removal of hazardous materials from our service station sites. We have been designated <br /> a" Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator", which produces less than 100 kg <br /> per month. Under this designation we will be required to remove hazardous materials <br /> from our sites when 100 kg is accumulated or whenever notified by station personnel that <br /> a special pick up is needed. <br /> Filter Recycling Services will be responsible for the removal and transportation of,but <br /> not limited to, the following substances: <br /> Used Absorbent <br /> Used Fuel Filters <br /> Used Absorbent Pads <br /> Petroleum Contaminated Liquids <br /> Hazardous Substances left by the General Public <br /> Filter Recycling Services will be providing a sealable, red container that has been <br /> prelabeled to each of our sites. Anytime a pick up is made; the station will be left with a <br /> Hazardous Materials Manifest which will stay on file at the station. <br /> It will be the responsibility of the Store Managers to notify the Hanford Environmental <br /> office at 559-583-3251 when their red container is full or contains more than 100 kilos of <br /> material. <br /> Filter Recycling Services Inc. <br /> 180 W.
